Blue Marine Telecom was responsible for the installation of a 230-kV subsea transmission line with a total length of 80 km of subsea electric cables laid in ultra-shallow waters, interconnecting the cities of Florianópolis and Biguaçu in the State of Santa Catarina. The entire installed length of the cables was buried in the seabed for system protection.

The job required technical, safety, environmental and occupational health resources, plus engagement with the local communities so the project could be concluded ahead of schedule, meeting not only technical requisites, but also respecting environment and the local population.
